Though being closer to an average height for her family, she is rather small in stature. She's the kind to not be able to reach the top shelves on her own. She isn't very muscular at all, and is rarely one to be asked to do heavy lifting. Her wardrobe consists mainly of loose-fitting clothes and those which are easy to move well in. She never wears anything tight-fitting or restrictive to her movement. Her daily outfit often consists of multiple layers. She seems to like scarves and cloaks and anything tends to flow on windy days. Her outfits are always modest, and in general, the only skin she ever shows is on her face, hands, and maybe her shins and ankles. Her clothes are often thematic of the colour blue. Depending on how active she is, her clothes may also suffer plenty of damage. She seems to have little regard for how expensive the clothes are. Regardless of her emotions, she has a consistent soft expression. She uses body lotions and creams daily and thus her skin tends to be soft with a somewhat glossy shine. Her hair may either be left free-flowing, or be held up. She always uses the same hairpin. She carries a decently sized satchel.

Personality:
Tuuli would be best described as "trying to be mature." She tends to be curious about everything around her, but there is often a difference between this curiosity and actual interest. She may ask a question about a topic, but it is often for a specific answer, and excessive rambling may be lost on her. Personal curiosity tends to be the major reason for her bad choices. She's the type to touch a hot stove to see if it was really hot, and not feel any regret for the sustained burn. She is totally immune to the feeling of "awkwardness". Things that usually make others uneasy such as oppressive silence have no effect to her. She tends to change her focus quite often, which could be difficult to keep up with; though, when she resolves herself to doing something, she would go all out to act on it. She is usually quite patient, though she will often find other things to do when left to her own devices. In general, she tries to be kind to others. She usually prefers keeping thoughts to herself, though she isn't afraid of speaking her mind when initiated. When it comes to a conflict, she prefers diplomacy over direct force. When she cares about the topic in question, she can be pretty argumentative, though she tries not to be. She prefers to outright remove herself from situations which go against her personal morals. If directly attacked (verbally or physically), she isn't afraid to defend herself. She'll protect her friends if they seem like they need it, though she prefers to help them learn to stand for themselves.

She is used to travelling in solitude, and is generally totally fine with it. When meeting a travelling companion, however, it can be rather easy for her to attach to other people, which can make it difficult for her when the event of separation happens. She may feel upset and moody for a while after, but easily becomes used to being alone again. Though she can attach to people easily, Tuuli lacks any sense of romance. When experiencing any sort of negative feeling such as fear or anger, she usually takes a moment to think about the situation, usually doing well to not let such feelings dictate her following actions. If a situation doesn't give her enough time to do this, she may act out erratically.

Likes:
~SPICEY FOOD. To her, it is important that this statement is capitalized. She has no fear of Tamato berries.
-Water. It may seem simple, but it's always intrigued her, with no particular concrete reason. It's everywhere, and it's in nearly everything.
-New stuff. Stepping into a mysterious cave, finding some strange glowing indescribable object. She finds fun out of visiting places she's never seen before.
-Consistency. Perhaps a bit conflicting with the variety part. But she appreciates stability in her life.
-History, lore, legends, myths. She is particularly fascinated in it. More from a scholar or bard's perspective than a scientist's, though.


Dislikes:
   -Inactivity. She hates standing around pointlessly, especially if there is nothing to do. She's a bit more tolerant if she can occupy herself during such times.
-Scarce environments. While she fancies the idea of a trip to the desert, the town itself as well as the near wildernesses were highly abundant. She can very quickly become incredibly high maintenance in environments with little resource and shelter for miles. She's not very good at packing for such, either.

Fears:
-Bugs. Not all bugs. Those bugs that can pick you up and carry you away. Unfortunately for her, that's a lot. She wouldn't have seen bugs that large growing up.
-Watching another suffer and not being able to help.

History: For most of her life, Tuuli grew up in a town that existed on Mount Coronet. It was about mid-way between Celestic Town and Snowpoint City. There were plenty of forests, mountains, and caves, which was more than enough to feed an adventurous spirit like hers. She very often interacted with the elements and with creatures, in varying degrees of danger.

She came from a family that actively trained and practised the art of Aura Manipulation. It was common tradition for practitioners within the town to partner with a pokémon they manage to achieve an aura connection with.

While exploring the edge of the mountain town, she crossed paths with a riolu, whom she immediately bonded with. She was too young to know the significance of their companionship. To her, the riolu was a friend to play with. Most people would usually reach their teens or even adulthood before finally finding the one to be their partner.

Because of this, she was often called a child prodigy. Initially, this was a good influence to her. She got high grades in her classes. After maturing enough to begin training as an Aura Guardian, she proved to be particularly strong at it. She was also motivated by her partner-in-training Riolu.

Eventually, the attention faded. Her peers started finding their own partners, and she wasn't so unique. The high ego remained, however. It caused her focus to slip, and she often skipped out on both her school and her aura training. Instead, she would wander, sometimes sneak, away into the wildernesses surrounding her home town. These places became just as much a home. She highly preferred the thrill of fleeing for her life from an enraged Ursaring over the everyday routines of her home. Her recklessness rubbed off onto her Riolu. Sometimes she would be out well past Dusk, or even days at a time. It was passed off as normal childish curiosity. Though it was more apparent of her, it was a common trait among the children.

On one of these escapades, she'd unknowingly walked out onto a frozen lake which was well buried under snow. Trekking onto a particularly fragile part of the lake caused it to crack, and she fell through, much to the distress of her partner Riolu. Under normal circumstances, she'd have been able to escape easily, but the shock caused her to panic. It was lucky for her that a benevolent Floatzel happened to be passing by. It was able to rescue her and pull her out of the water. The Floatzel remained to help them reach a cave before leaving them. The cave was warmer than the outside. Adrenaline alone was what allowed her to reach the cave. The cold and her wet clothes steadily drained her energy.

Her partner Riolu, unsure of what else to do, rushed back to their home village in hopes of finding help. She was unconscious when he finally returned along with her family. Though she was still alive, her body temperature was far below normal, and it was clear they were too late to help her. They tried what they could to warm her, knowing it was likely in vain.

It was then that her grandmother came. She was a respected elder in their town, and a veteran Aura Guardian. Not wanting to lose her granddaughter, she didn't hesitate to transfer her aura to Tuuli. Thanks to this, Tuuli was able to recover completely. The use of the technique, however, had taken her grandmother's life.

Since this time, Tuuli made it a point to act more responsibly, and was more dutiful in her training as an Aura Guardian. The adventurer spirit still lingered, however. When she'd reached adulthood was when Tuuli decided she wanted to travel outside her home town. For a while, she wandered Sinnoh. When presented the opportunity, however, she rode a ferry from Canalave City to Kanto, where her adventure would really begin.

While she'd still be considered a novice when it comes to her training as a Guardian of Aura, her training has given her various skills.
~Her particular receptiveness of Aura cause her to be more sensitive to the emotions of others.
~She is capable of a sort of blind sight. If for whatever reason she couldn't depend on her eyes, she would still be able to navigate well enough.
~She is more resistant than the average person to being mentally controlled or manipulated through unnatural methods.
~A+ at finding people she knows. She is capable of tracking traces of an individual aura.

-A fancy collapsing staff. She doesn't carry it often, as it would tend to draw more attention than she'd prefer. It can extend to be as long as herself. More fancy aura trainer accessories of questionable usefulness.
