The walk through the forest brought no disturbances as they carried on going, but the sounds of the night were eerie for a woman already so on edge. She filled the quiet with low volume chatter, with which the Larvesta could only respond in the noises of its kind. Still, whether or not the human could understand, she seemed content with it, and the short journey passed by safely and with another achievement: a name for the Larvesta, Vaahn. Pikipek's, however, would have to wait until it could chirp its opinion. The human seemed to find that important, which was a taste of fresh air.
When the duo (or trio) reached Pewter City, it was a sight to behold. It was surreal to walk through the corridor of the rest stop and past the uniformed guard, spotting the growing brush that prevented easy access to the Diglett's Cave (not that fence hopping was so hard in real life) and passing the lines of trees up into the urban area proper. Alice was relieved to see so many buildings with unlocked doors and switched on lights given the night's chill, but as tempting as the Pokemon Centre looked, it was overshadowed by the mess going on by the museum.
"I wonder what's going down over there." She remarked, her Larvesta just as intrigued. Alice moved towards the crowd, sticking far enough back that she could see what was happening and try to listen in. Mad science and heathens? Was this in reference to Pokemon resurrection by fossils, she wondered, or was it something more nefarious?
